Weird.

So I decided to take a nap whilst writing up my thesis this afternoon.
Had one of the weirdest weirdest dream ever.

>>> Stole a hamster-sized Pomeranian from this passerby because I wanted to bring to Ah Ma's house and let Truffle 'play' with it.
>>> Walked with mummy (& w the Pomeranian) to Ah Ma's place (Truffle's at Ah Ma's house).
>>> Access to Ah Ma's place was difficult, had to go all the way to the roof top, climb down the stairs (?) and had to squeeze through some low ceiling.
>>> Ah Ma greeted us, in her healthy form except that she is so much taller. & in a paper form (?)
>>> Saw daddy seated at this chair which he always sits whenever he's at Ah Ma's place.
>>> The place was crowded (forgot who was present).. check the wall clock as I had to meet BF. Clock shows 4pm

AND I WOKE UP.
Checked my HP and

It was really 4pm.

Me, My Chubby Face, Puny Eyes and Down-graded Specs.

Been contemplating if I should get one of those black plastic big frame specs during my Shanghai + HanZhou trip.
I've always wanted one when it was still hot in fashion (yea yea I know its no longer in fashion now)
Somehow, my old specs gave way the day before my China trip!

So ta-dahhhh. Me, my chubby face and my down-graded specs.

It's actually not that cheap, cheaper than Melb but I think I can get better deals in Singapore.
Oh well. My specs gave way and I was forced to get one.

PS// I know my eyes looked super puny. My degrees is 650 each so what do you expect! I've already requested for the thinner (and Japanese made) lens but it still tiny-fied my eyes :(

PSPS// Been terribly busy, trying to catch up with my work. It's not helping when I've been falling sick.

I've got Yoplait I've got Yoplait

Thanks to Nuffnang,
I was given the opportunity to do a Product Review on the IMPROVED version of Yoplait Yoghurt!

(<。) IT'S YOPLAIT TIME!

Yoplait (= yoghurt in french), has currently reformulated their old recipe. It's now better than ever!

I gotta say this,
I'm soooo L♥♥♥♥♥ving their 6 pack tubs.

Photobucket

I get an assortment of flavours, ranging from Classic (Vanilla, Strawberry, Mango), Dark Berries (Blueberry, Rasberry, Blackberry), Dessert Twists (Citrus, Apple & Cinamon, Vanilla), Berry Punnet (Strawberry, Raspberry, Mixed Berries) and Orchard Fruits (Peach, Citrus, Mango).

These also comes in 1kg tubs, just for the big-eater!
Ok, not really but definitely a more value-for-$$ option since purchase of bigger bulk usually gives a better deal..
But nah, still loving my mini tubs. `).。o

The mini sized ones are REALLY good for "On-the-Go". ESPECIALLY for my morning classes when I always have to rushrushrush, since I NEVER FAIL to snooze, giving me NO time to prepare my breakkie!

Now,
I can just chuck this Yoplait Mini-Tub into my bag and eat them while driving to school.

Sooooo easy!

I was also pleased to know that these yoghurts are

Photobucket
"Rich in calcium, No artifical flavours or colours & contains REAL fruits!"
Photobucket

AWESOMENESS.

I can now have a guilt-free snacking since it's also 98% fat free.
Very good during my stress period when I always crave for sweet snacks.

Photobucket

But also cannot eat alot lah! Which is also why this little tub is good for portion-controlled snacking.

+

These little tubs fit perfectly in MY EXPLODING FRIDGE.

Photobucket

Spot them!

Photobucket

I cook & bake alot so this fridge can't contain everything. It's a challenge to squeeze everything in this fridge and I wished that we had gotten a bigger one at the start. Oh well, student life.
OK THATS BESIDES THE POINT.

These little tubs are perfect as they are space-saving!

+

I must say that this 6 pack tubs are also convenient for picnics!

Photobucket
Photobucket

Yes, I know I know. I had the picnic at home. It was an extremely misty and cold day on Monday (11th June) so I decided to stay in, especially since BF is having his exams too.
But it was still fun! I get to bake my cheese souffle (argh, fallen by the time I set everything up. %$#%) and make my lentil soup.

Speaking of soup,

Photobucket
Do you know that you can add the Vanilla flavoured Yoplait to the lentil soup to thicken it up? Just a drop and the sweetness also provided a very good balance.
Photobucket

Try it! Feel free to let me know what you think!

Vanilla flavour is my favourite since it's a versatile flavour.

I can:

- Add to my breakfast smoothie of ANY flavour.
- Incorporate them into my baking recipes!

These vanilla also have added vanilla beans too!

TO END THIS, I SHALL SHARE THIS VERY SIMPLE RECIPE USING THE VANILLA YOPLAIT.

Vanilla Cupcake using Yoplait Vanilla Yoghurt

Finally, top your cupcakes with your favourite frosting!

Photobucket

I made a very simple oreo, cream cheese based frosting for my cupcakes.
Added a little hint of butter for the shine. No other added sugar. Feel free to ask me for the recipe if you would like!

As I love chunks in my frosting, I did not grind them too finely which means.... I CANT PIPE THOSE FANCY FANCY NICE DESIGNS.

Photobucket

Very ugly I know. Shall name it Oreo Soil Yoplait Vanilla Cupcake! (ღ˘˘ღ)

So, remember guys, if you want a nice presentation for your cupcakes, grind them finely in a food processor.

This recipe was actually modified from BBCGoodFood.

Even though I have halved the sugar portion as Yoplait Vanilla is already sweetened (plus I am not too fond of desserts that are too sweet), it is still good and I can still achieve the nice golden colour. (Sorry I had forgotten to take a photo of the cupcakes before frosting!)

Furthermore, with reduced sweetness, you can have more room for the normally sweet frosting!

Enjoy! (o⌒.⌒o)
