Cadbury Creme Egg - GOOOOEYGOOOOOOEY

Had always wanted to try the Cadbury Creme Egg even though I'm not exactly fond of Cadbury. (Tasted like cheap chocolate imo. My calories intake is precious! Therefore I need to pick what should or should not allow to enter my mouth!)

But see!

More at the Creme Egg Goo Tube.

I dont know why but the advertisement makes me drggggoooool.
Love how they made it looook so gooey. YUM!

Since last year when I had laid my eyes on one of these eggs, I knew I just had to try them one day.
As I am a very indecisive girl, it was only this year, after BF constant "Just buy lahhh" that I decided to get one.
Even made a pact to eat that as a study motivational treat.

Sad to say, I ONLY GET TO MUNCH INTO ONE OF THESE A WEEK PLUS LATER!
Which means, I've been slacking for a week. HEEEHEEEHEEEHEE.
And also, it's when Easter was over = the price dropped by half.
Ok ok, that's beside the point.

SO,
Some photos of my Creme Egg adventure! (LOL)

AND huhhhh, They lied.

Photobucket

It's not gooey!
(Ok, also probably because it's pretty cold here >>> the goo has solidified)
(& yes, I DO NOT keep my chocolates in the fridge and it is still not gooey.)

So, I've decided to microwave it for about 7 seconds to make it gooey for consumption.

OOOOO GOOOOOOeeeeee!

Another photo! With an emphasis on the yolk!

And my verdict? I won't buy them again.
Too sweet for my liking. Not a big fan of the white fondant that they used for the inside. PLUS! In case you have got no idea, I'm not a candy girl despite the fact that I've got a sweet tooth.
Still, I had a fun time eating it and kept asking BF if he wants to try. (✿´ ψψ `)

Beta testing (HAHAHA)
Will do the correct shape next time!

Apartments in Australia are relatively cheaper.

Most of the houses and apartments in Australia (well, maybe just Melbourne?) are like modernized Kampongs.
They are all made out of wood structure.
Hollow - when I knock on my walls.

No wonder it's so much cheaper lah. Less than a year and the interior has ceilings that seemed to be falling apart. Not to mention, the place is vibrate-able. Ceilings vibrates even when your feet landed slightly harder. And do I have to mention what happened when I use my washing machine? Despite the fact that I got one with DD motor (Less noise, less vibration).

Feel so safe.

PS// My previous more 'expensive' apartment that was situated near the city is the same.

To celebrate the end of GE2011....

Expensive french wine!
Kindly sponsored by Addison. (・ー ・)

Ok, actually it was not intended to be a celebration for the GE2011 since dinner was before the results were announced.
He just wanted to share with us the wine thus this dinner. So sweet of him! (ヘ ベ✿)

Wanted to have some yummy steak at
Photobucket

Had reserved a table there but because of the stupid jam, we were late!
Then they gave out our table to other people. (◡⋂ ◡)

Should have headed out earlier or given them a call.. but was upset that they claimed to call us when it's clear that they didn't!
Nevertheless, the attendant was apologetic so will probably try there one day!

Everywhere was fully booked due to Mother's day which was the following day..
So we can't try anywhere else new!
Went back to this 'regular' Japanese restaurant that BF & I used to go when we stayed nearer to the city.
Yamato!

Still, it was a yummy Japanese dinner!

PS// In case you are wondering why there is no dessert. So not me right?! I was too anxious to gobble them up and just realised that I did not snap any photo! Had their daifuku, which was awesome! Esp with their matcha ice-cream. Have not tasted any other nicer daifuku (Didn't try when I was in Japan though) The rest are way too sweet so I love Yamato's daifuku!
And *eh hmm* second round of dessert at Ganache. *eh hmm*

My Little Note on GE2011

Photobucket

That's precisely MY point on why I said many opposition party has the STYLE but NO feasible plans.

It's not just to BRING UP THE FAULTS, just to 'sway' the voters to support them,
or having the GUTS to challenge the ministers.
or NOT giving OPPOSITION the CHANCE.

Errrrr. So you say they need the CHANCE to get into the parliament to say what they are going to do? But don't you think that we need to understand what they want to do before allowing them to take care of Singapore?
Wah so easy, next time I will just speaking up (in a stern tone) and highlight the problems so as to get the how $$$million zillion$$$ salary the government is getting. Don't need to say my next course of action, just tell them to give me chance and I will prove. Maybe I will. HMMM.

A good policy makers will provide THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION in the problems that have been highlighted.

And let me emphasize again that these are just MY OPINION - You don't have to agree with me.
I happen to just see this article on http://www.scidev.net and like wow, I can relate to this.
(You can click on the picture for a bigger view and type in the URL to read the whole article.)

Then again, everybody view things differently. I would just like to justify why I've been whining about the only few good opposition party (I FEEL IT'S FEW OK. THAT'S WHAT I FEEL. YOU DONT HAVE TO EFFIN AGREE.) that is present in this current General Election 2011.

On a side note// I strongly support people voting for a GOOD opposition party (I'm pretty sure my definition of a good opposition party has been emphasized many times. Concrete plans, darling. Not just talk and talk and talk to sell yourself, kthxbye.) so that they can 'control' the PAP, in preventing Singapore from becoming a monopolise state.

Takumi

Where: 32 BOURKE ST, MELBOURNE, VICTORIA 3000
Contact#: 03 9650 7020
Website: TAKUMI.COM.AU

For those who know me personally will know that I am NEVER fond of meat. Not much of a meat-lover; I will always always pick seafood whenever I can.
Of course, I am easy-going (HAHAHAHAHA), will go with the flow when meals are accompanied by other people, especially since it is picked by the birthday boy.

Saw this on their website:

Melbourne's Only Wagyu Beef Specialist

"Serving only the highest quality Australian Wagyu Beef"

And boy, I totally do agree with them. Their beef was splendid!
The marbling of the beef - WOOOTS.
Not too much and not too little. IMO.
Will definitely go there again, especially if I'm with a bunch of beef-lovers.

Was also pleased to find that the place is run by Japanese. How more authentic can you get?

Matt Preston had actually did a review (HERE) so you may be interested to read what he has got to say since it's a food critic.

Maybe its their marketing strategy but still I was swooon over by their beef. I reckon it is the way they slice it, the thickness and all.

Some photos:

You know, I actually realized that I forgot to capture the photos for the food! But you can find them on their website.

We had picked "All-You-Can-Eat" (value for $$ since it's majority guys at the dinner) and the catch is to finish within 1.5h so must CHIONG when the food arrives mahhhh.
And also because I was so excited to eat when the food arrived at our table.

PLUS WE FREAKING WOKE UP AT 6PM.
YES, PM SO THAT OUR FIRST MEAL. LOL.

Non-restaurant related photo:
(I looked awkward in most photos! I knew the girls because of BF soooo am a little shy! They were kind enough to ask me join in their photo-whoring. :) Feel less dejected. Hahaha.)
(& I don't feel satisfied with how I do my makeup that day. Overslept and only had less than 30mins to prepare, including deciding my damn clothes! So it did affected my confidence. I'm damn WTF right?)
